SCIG has recently acquired Oakwood Court Apartments located in Mobile Alabama.  This is a very heavy value-add project with high vacancy, a large capital injection for renovation, and lots of moving parts.  The property features very mature and beautiful live oak trees that we love in coastal towns.  We have teamed up with Revitalize Mobile Property Management and Pfeion Properties to ensure this project is completed.  The property is undergoing exterior and interior changes, and will be re-branded "Bay Pointe Apartments".  Our goal is to offer safe and affordable living for our residents and the community.  The before and after on this one will be stunning!

SCIG targets high growth areas with solid demographics.  We recently acquired 28,000 sft of retail space on the east side of Montgomery, AL.  Conveniently located near major shopping, job, and residential areas, it is in a prime location to grow with the area.  This center is 100% occupied and cash-flowing day one.  SCIG management has identified multiple areas to add value to the center, and will be implementing them immediately.  This center is expected to provide great returns to our investors for years to come.

SCIG is committed to investing in rapidly growing areas with strong demographics.  One of the top prospects for that, is Huntsville, Alabama.  With strong job and population growth, this area has become one of our primary focuses.  In early 2019, we acquired 90,000 sft of retail/office space at the gateway to South Huntsville.  Our group is implementing plans to renovate the complex, and secure its spot as a landmark in the area.  SCIG will be heavily involved in city organizations to integrate the property better into the community.

-Natural Disaster Reconstruction -

After an EF-3 tornado ravaged the city of Jacksonville, AL in March of 2018, SCIG has gone to work helping rebuild the city we call home.  With 355 structures damaged, there is no shortage of work to be done.  By investing over $1 million dollars in to the city during the year following the storm, The SCI Group has played a major role in helping restore the community.  We have successfully completed dozens of residential and commercial construction projects, and will continue to help re-build in to the future.
